A VAPE shop has closed for the last time in a sudden departure from Fordingbridge.
Kraken Vape, 7 High Street, shut its doors permanently at 6pm on Wednesday, July 10.
Owner Ashley Sargent, who opened the shop in 2022, announced the shock news on social media just six hours before Kraken Vapes closed.
Mr Sargent offered customers massive final reductions, selling bottles of e-liquid for £1 in a bid to shift his remaining stock.
In a Facebook post, Mr Sargent wrote: "We will cease trading today!
"Get in and grab some bargains we’re practically giving things away today we are open until 6pm get down."
The closure means vapers will now have to travel to Ringwood or Salisbury to browse a specialist vape shop.
While Kraken Vapes mainly sold e-cigarettes and vaping liquid, it also stocked trending confectionary, drinks and 'hype' clothing.
This recent departure comes six months after a longstanding 'all-sorts' shop, also in Fordingbridge High Street, closed for good.

Miles of Value, which had been in the town for more than 30 years, closed on January 18 marking "the end of an era" and a "huge loss" for Fordingbridge.
Mr Sargent was approached for further comment on the closure.
