Start your day by visiting Salisbury Cathedral, one of the city's most iconic landmarks. It has been a place of worship, welcome, and hospitality for over 800 years and houses the oldest working mechanical clock in the world.

You can explore the hidden secrets of the Cathedral's construction and climb 332 steps to experience spectacular views of Salisbury. The tickets are free for residents in SP1, SP2, and Laverstock.

The Salisbury Musem

It's only a short walk to Salisbury Museum from the Cathedral. The collections cover everything from high art to archaeology. Estimated to include more than 100,000 artefacts, the archaeology collection delves deeply into the history of the area. Families and kids can participate in workshops and activities.

Stonehenge

Standing as a World Heritage Site, Stonehenge consists of a group of huge rough-cut stones, some more than 20 feet high, arranged in two concentric circles. Every year, these remnants of prehistoric England welcome 10 million visitors. Visitors can explore the stones up close and learn about their mysterious history at the nearby visitor centre, which features exhibitions and a reconstructed Neolithic village.
