Drivers in and around Wiltshire will have 23 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
Four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M4, from 11.59pm April 27 2021 to midnight, July 31 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4, junction 17 to 16 eastbound, 24hr hard shoulder closure for carriageway defect repair.
• M4, from 8pm July 1 to 6am August 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 17 exit slip, lane closure for local authority works.
• A36, from 8pm January 2 to 5am December 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Beckington to Ower mobile lane closures for drainage.
And a further 20 closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M4, from 8pm July 8 to 6am July 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 16 to 17 closed for carriageway repairs, diversion via A3102, A4, A420 and A350, diversion for small cars via A3102, B4042 and A429.
• A36, from 9pm July 8 to 4am July 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 northbound, St Marks Rbt to St Pauls Rbt lane closure for sign repair.
• A36, from 7pm July 9 to 7am July 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Wilton, traffic lights installed by BT.
• A36, from 8pm July 9 to 4am July 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Warminster to Knook two-way signals for sign repair.
• M4, from 9pm July 9 to 6am July 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 17 to 18 lane closure for electrical works.
• A36, from 8pm July 10 to 5am July 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 southbound, College Roundabout, Salisbury, lane closure for pedestrian guard rail works.
• A303, from 8pm July 11 to 6am July 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Countess, lane closure for barrier works.
• M4, from 9pm July 11 to 6am July 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 18 to 17 lane closure for electrical works.
• A303, from 9pm July 12 to 4am July 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Longbarrow Rbt to Winterbourne Stoke, two-way traffic lights for sign maintenance.
• A36, from 9.30am to 5pm on July 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 South Newton, traffic lights installed by Wessex Water.
• A36, from 8pm July 16 to 6am July 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Whiteparish, multiway traffic lights for technology works.
• A36, from 8pm July 17 to 6am July 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A36 Both directions Chapmanslade to Warminster, two-way traffic lights for technology replacements.
• M4, from 8pm July 18 to 6am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 17 exit slip, lane closure for local authority works.
• M4, from 10pm July 18 to 6am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 16 to junction 17, lane closure for drainage works.
• M4, from 10pm July 18 to 6am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 15 to junction 16, lane closure for drainage works.
• A419, from 3am July 19 to 8pm July 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A419 southbound, Latton to Cricklade.(MP 18/2 to MP 17/2), Lane one closure (Chicane) to Lane two due to Royal International Air Tattoo.
• A419, from 3am July 19 to 8pm July 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A419 northbound/southbound, Freeths Recycling, Castle Eaton and Widhill Farm, All central reservation gap closures for Royal International Air Tattoo.
• A36, from 7am July 22 to 3pm August 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 South Newton, traffic lights installed by Chevron to rebuild a wall (third party work).
• A303, from 8pm July 22 to 6am July 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 Both directions Amesbury bypass to countess rbt, lane closures for surveys.
• A303, from 9.30pm July 22 to 6am July 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Parkhouse, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
