MOTORISTS were disrupted this afternoon after a van driver crashed into a verge on the main road through Amesbury.
The driver reportedly crashed on Salisbury Road, heading southbound through the town, and hit a post shortly before 3pm on Friday, July 5.
Several police officers arrived on the scene to conduct traffic and cordon off the pavement as oil leaked down the road.
PC Sainsbury said the van driver had collided into the side of the road but had no injuries.
An ambulance arrived on the scene as a precaution and the van was recovered by Ashley Wood at around 4.30pm.
