A MAN has denied threatening to kill his ex girlfriend and "bury her body in the garden" three times.
Nanjing Yan, 50, allegedly stalked the mother of his child while they were living in a flat in Catherine Street between March 14 and June 24 last year.
Throughout this three-month period, Yan is said to have demanded the victim have sex with him and he carried out electronic surveillance of her.
Crown prosecutor Ryan Seneviratne said Yan put an Apple AirTag in the victim's car while she was asleep because he 'wanted to know [his child] is safe'.

The crown also allege that Yan installed surveillance devices around the house, including a camera in the victim's bedroom and microphones in the children's bedroom and in the kitchen.
"She lives in fear of him," Mr Seneviratne told the court.
"The serious nature of these allegations simple make them not suitable for summary trial."
Yan pleaded not guilty to charges of stalking involving serious alarm or distress and stalking involving fear of violence at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Friday, June 28.
The case was adjourned for a pre-trial preparation hearing at Salisbury Crown Court on July 31 as Yan's potential sentence is greater than one the magistrates could impose.
