A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of talking sexually to a child online.

The Salisbury resident, in his 20s, was stung by Child Online Safety Team UK and arrested on Thursday, June 20.

Wiltshire Police confirmed the man had been arrested on suspicion of "engaging in sexual communication with a child".

He has been released on conditional bail and enquiries are ongoing.

The Journal is not naming the suspect unless he is charged.
