Six bikes worth more than £20,000 have been stolen from a cycle event over the weekend, sparking a police appeal.

Between the evening of Saturday, June 29 and the morning of Sunday, June 30, six bikes worth around £21,000 total were stolen off racks on cars in Old Sarum Farm, Castle Road, Salisbury after their locks were cut.

The bikes were:

  • Two Giant Revolt Advanced 1 gravel bikes
  • A red Basso Palta and yellow green Basso Palta
  • Orange Forme trailbike
  • Grey Cannondale Topstone 2 Lefty

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "If you witnessed anything or have any information then please contact us on 101 quoting reference 54240076610.

"If you also had your bike stolen then please report it via 101 or on our website.
