A brand new "spooktacular", after-dark Halloween attraction will open at Moors Valley Country Park and Forest this autumn.
Filled with fiendishly scary surprises nestled deep in the forest, the specially designed illuminated trail will be open from October 25 to November 3.
Tickets for the theatrical spectacular are based on specific time slots, with only a limited amount available, and go on sale today.
The trail will open at dusk and continue as the darkness of night sets in.
Taking visitors on an eerie journey winding through the forest they will discover its spooky secrets through a series of lights, animations, and actors.
The trail will make its way to a secret cemetery hidden in the trees, leading to an encounter with a ghostly undertaker who haunts the area surrounded by lost souls, woodland spirits and creaking coffins.
The spine-tingling mayhem will continue among the tall creeping trees with a host of spooky encounters including wicked witches, horrible highwaymen and larger-than-life spiders…and all the time the tree demons will be watching!
Halloween themed treats will be on sale at the event including bewitched burgers, Frankenstein’s fries and loaded curly worms, plus fiendishly good hot toddies and devilishly decadent hot chocolates.
With limited capacity and timed entry anyone wanting to secure tickets are encouraged to book early to ensure the date and time of choice.
Tickets are £12 for adults at off-peak times or £16 at on-peak times, £8 or £12 for children (age 3-16), and £37 or £53 for a family of four. More information on how to book tickets can be found at forestryengland.uk/moors-valley-halloween
