The force is investigating whether the incident is linked to another attempted burglary in Warminster earlier in the evening.

Shortly before 11pm on Sunday, June 23, suspects tried to gain entry to a Morrisons garage but had already left before the police arrived on scene.

A silver or grey car, possibly with stolen number plates, was reportedly involved in the crime.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "If you have information that could help with our enquiry please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54240073517."
