A CAFE must improve its cleanliness to enable good food hygiene, inspectors have said.
Friar Tuck Cafe, at 8 Salisbury Street in Amesbury, was handed a two-out-of-five food hygiene rating following an inspection on May 23.
While its hygiene and management of food safety was found to be 'generally satisfactory', the cafe's cleanliness and facilities need improvement.
This category involves having an appropriate building layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control.

The Wiltshire Council inspector noted some "major non-compliance with statutory obligations" during their visit.
As such, "significant" improvements are required to prevent a fall in standards at Friar Tuck.
Food hygiene ratings are published publicly by the Food Standards Agency, the government department responsible for protecting public health in relation to food.
It is important to note that food hygiene ratings reflect the standards of food hygiene, not the food quality.
Friar Tuck has an average review score of 3.5 on TripAdvisor and customers have recently mentioned their positive experiences at the cafe.
