A "big family fun day" has been organised across three schools in one day in the New Forest this summer.
On Saturday, July 13, Hale Primary School, Breamore Primary School and Hyde Primary School will host free family activities on their school sites, organised by Forest Edge, who organise forest school sessions.
Families will be able to collect a stamp for each site which will enter them into a competition to win a family ticket to Farmer Palmer's or family photography session.
A spokesperson from Forest Edge said: "The children at the Forest Edge Learning Federation take part in weekly Forest School sessions. They play games, cook food (like smores), build dens, work with clay, wood and weaving!"
Charly from Hale said: “We really enjoy forest school and we recommend it to others that want to try!”
The fun day will offer games, crafts and refreshments, as well as the opportunity to tour the three schools. For those looking for a school place for next year, or are just curious to see what they are like, look out for staff and governors in hi-vis on the day who will show you around.
