One of the largest independent art galleries in the South West will welcome a Somerset-based artist to show off her latest collection of paintings.
Fisherton Mill has said it is 'delighted' to welcome Pamela Legg to the main gallery with her latest collection of uniquely styled paintings, each piece featuring a Dickensian-styled character of her creation who wears a rather fine black top hat.
Follow the 'Gutterman', as he is known, and explore the secret streets from his world in this series of original oil and acrylic paintings.

Discover hidden mice, a sneaky thief, a lone Tom cat and many many tiny eyes all peaking out from between the brickwork. All these hidden features can be found in the details of these fun and illustrative paintings.
Born in Somerset, Pamela lived in the Highlands of Scotland for the early years of her life before returning to Somerset to be nearer to family. After leaving school early at 14, she worked for many years for the RSPCA until deciding to pursue her passion for cartoons by studying Animation at the University West of England in Bristol.

After gaining a BA Hons degree in the subject she returned to her love of painting and created 'The Gutterman', so called after the first work featuring him where he was shown stood under a broken gutter leaking the rain water onto his hat.
Her trademark Gutterman character has featured in many bespoke commissioned pieces for local businesses and charities. Don't miss this brilliantly quirky collection of work showing for four weeks in August.
Fisherton Mill is open Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 5pm, and from 9am until 5.30pm on Saturday.
