THE Guildhall will be transformed into a dazzling live music venue next weekend following a hugely successful inaugural drum and bass night last year.

A DJ night with music from DJ Emma and DJ Bong will allow the over 30s to head “out out” on Friday, June 28, with a night of funk, disco and house music.

The following day, the venue is hosting an under-18s event dedicated to Taylor Swift. Such is the power of the singer, that the ‘Swiftie Sessions’ sold out within a week of release.

Both events are part of The Guildhall Sessions, which the Guildhall says come after a “hugely successful inaugural drum and bass night in 2023”.

The listed building will once again be transformed into a must-visit Salisbury music venue this June, complete with a fully-stocked bar from Sips.

The Guildhall’s manager Luke Harris said “We are really excited to be able to put on these events for Salisbury.

“We love seeing the building full of people letting their hair down and are lucky to have some quality acts coming.

“The Friday night is for the adults, and the Saturday afternoon for the under 18s, it feels great to offer a safe, fun space for everyone to have a boogie.”
