More than £200 worth of meat was stolen from a supermarket in Ringwood.
On Thursday, May 30, at some time between 3.35pm and 3.40pm, a shoplifting incident took place in Waitrose in The Furlong.
The incident involved the theft of £227.99 worth of meat.
A CCTV image has been released by police as part of the investigation, and they are looking to identify a woman who they believe may have connection to the incident.
The woman in question is described to be white, approximately 25 years old, approximately 5ft 6ins tall and wearing a Nike top.
In a statement, Hampshire Constabulary said: "We believe the woman in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.
"Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
"You can do this by calling 101, or by reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44240227459."
