A Drumhead Service took place in Old Sarum to commemorate the D-Day 80th anniversary.

After a flypast of three Auster aircraft on Tuesday, June 4, Boscombe Down Aviation Collection ran a D-Day event on Thursday, June 6, to commemorate the official day of the 80th anniversary.

Amesbury Town Band played, and the army cadets unit paraded and put on a drill display for those in attendance.

An evening drumhead service took place, which included readings from local Councillors and representatives from B Squadron, Royal Wessex Yeomanry.
