Anna, a mum-of-two, studied art for five years and now, she works full-time as a children’s book writer and illustrator. Her work mostly features animals, created delicately with intricate detail. Her art has also been used to illustrate children’s books, including her own novel “I’m the happiest”.
She said: “I make friendly and cheerful art that brings a smile to your face. I’ve seen grumpy people come in – and then they’re smiling! A small thing like that makes it feel like it’s worth the effort.”
Diliana has been an artist for her whole life, and creates “original and witty” artwork using a “philosophical” point of view.
She said: “I’m influenced by people in the street, my dreams, and my imagination.”
Both artists are part of the art trail and sell their work online. You can view Anna’s website here, and Diliana’s website here.
Anna and Diliana’s work can be viewed and purchased until June 9, between 10am – 5pm and 12.30pm – 4pm on Sunday.
