Salisbury's St Michael's Community Centre is raising money to keep the free breakfast club running for school children and their families.

They give free breakfast for up to 200 people who have both financial and social needs.

Breakfast options cater for all, including homemade pancakes and a fondly regarded Friday fry-up.

Kate Varga, the scheme's organiser, says the breakfast club, born last year, operates during school holidays.

With a £3,000 target, the fundraiser, established on April 28, has so far amassed £300.
