An exciting fly-past is planned for the run-up to D-Day.
A D-Day flypast has been arranged part of a project to recognise the important role played by RAF Old Sarum.
On Tuesday, June 4, three Austers will take part in an RAF Old Sarum flypast, between 10am - 10.30am.
The project is a joint effort by Boscombe Down Aviation Collection and Laverstock & Ford Parish Council.

Voluneteer at Boscombe Down Aviation Collection Tim Cornish has collated most of the research surrounding the airfields (RAF Old Sarum) involvement in D-Day.
The flypast will showcase the following:
Auster 5 NJ633 (G- AKXP) - Stripes (ex 659 AOP Squadron)
Auster 1 LB352 (G-AHCR) - ex 654 AOP Squadron
Auster 5 TW519 (G-ANHX) ex 661 AOP Squadron and later Aircraft & Armament Experimental Establishment at RAF Boscombe Down.
