A GUESTHOUSE in Salisbury had a surprise visitor when a deer was spotted in its rear garden.
The last-minute check-in was snapped at the back of The Old House Guest House in Wilton Road by Mark Maidment.

Mark, who runs the guesthouse with his mum Hilary, said: "Whilst we will try and accommodate any guests trying to find accommodation, this is the first time one has decided to leave by scaling the garden fence.
"We were very surprised but also delighted to see the deer in the garden.
"It stayed for a while but was spooked by us putting out the washing!"
