THE man accused of murdering a Salisbury father will stand trial on Monday.
Maurice Jones, of Gainsborough Close, Bemerton Heath, has been in custody since he was arrested and charged with murder on August 22, 2023, a few hours after Tsvetomir Genov, 20, died.
Jones pleaded not guilty to murder during a short hearing at Winchester Crown Court on December 14 where he was remanded in custody by Judge Angela Morris.

Nine months on from Mr Genov's death, Jones is due to stand trial in Winchester from Monday, June 3.
No indication of the trial's length has been given yet but the Journal will be covering it live from the courtroom.
