A WOMAN was lifted over a man's shoulder and thrown to the ground in an assault which took place in front of a young child.
At approximately 9.30pm on Monday, March 18, police said a man reportedly lifted a woman over his shoulder and threw her to the ground. When her friend tried to help, she was grabbed by the neck and thrown into a bush.
Police added that it happened near the junction to Rambridge Crescent on Pulman Drive.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault, harassment and engaging in controlling/coercive behaviour. He has been released on bail.
Police believe a man stopped his vehicle to check on the welfare of the women and said they are keen to speak to him and any other witnesses.
