A MAN in his 70s had to be treated for injuries after a two-car crash on Sunday afternoon.
The crash took place on Hamptworth Road, Landford at around 3.15pm and four fire engines, police and an ambulance were spotted at the scene by a witness.
A spokesperson from Wiltshire Police said: "We responded to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Hamptworth Road, Landford around 3.15pm yesterday (Sunday). A man in his 70s was treated for injuries. No arrests were made. "
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said in a statement yesterday: "They said: "We received a call at 3.47pm this afternoon about a road traffic collision on Hamptworth Road, Landford.
"Crew from Salisbury and Redbridge (H&IOW FRS) attended the incident which involved two vehicles – one casualty self-rescued and the incident was left in the hands of our police colleagues. Our stop was at 4.27pm."
The road has now reopened.
