A NEW live music show is coming to Laverstock later this month.
Laverstock Live - part of Salisbury Live 2024 and presented by The Immersive Group and Laverstock and Ford Sports Club - will take place on May Bank Holiday (Sunday May 26) from 2pm.
It comes after River Bourne Community Farm announced that Live @ The Farm had been cancelled as the charitable trust which owns the land deemed it "no longer suitable".
The Laverstock one-day music festival attracted more than 4,000 people last year, on May 28, with upgrades having been made to the bar and security.
But it won't be returning this year as "increasingly severe weather conditions" have made the land unsuitable for large-scale events, according to the landowner.
But music lovers can now get their fix at this new event at the end of May, with tickets from £11.25.
Headlining are Maybe Oasis and The Phogues.
