A lorry has struck a railway bridge in Salisbury - shocking photos show the wedged vehicle with its wheels up in the air.
Emergency services were called to London Road at approximately 8.30am on Friday, May 3, to reports that a lorry had stuck the bridge.
The A30 was closed at St Thomas' Bridge Roundabout at 9am for the lorry to be recovered.

Photos show the lorry wedged under the small bridge, with its back wheels no longer touching the road.
At the scene, PC Slade told the Journal that the bridge is still looking 'structurally sound' and the road is expected to be closed for two hours.
Wiltshire Police has been contacted for more information.
