Salisbury's Milford House Care Home, run by Barchester Healthcare, marked National Tea Day with various activities.
The senior residents relished the tea prepared by the home's chefs, and indulged in a variety of speciality teas as well as participated in a community-engaging 'Best Dressed Tea Cup' competition.
The caregiving staff and visitors decided the competition's winner.
Aga Musial, general manager at Milford House Care Home said: "Congratulations to our winner, the entry was wonderful and featured a miniature shoe and flower toning with the tea cup and was the stand out choice and our winner winner went away with a fabulous selection box of speciality teas to enjoy.
"All the entries were great and had imaginative themes including dinosaurs! It was a lot of fun; there was conversation and laughter all round - what better way to celebrate Britain's favourite drink!"
The winner said: "I was surprised and delighted to win and I'm going to enjoy sampling the lovely teas that were my prize. It was such a fun thing to do and I loved looking at all the different entries, each one was different and unique."
Milford House, providing residential and nursing care for 70 individuals, offers services ranging from respite care to long-term stays.
