DRIVERS have been told to plan ahead as a main Wiltshire road will be closed overnight this week.
A 14-mile section of the A36 from Salisbury to Ower is closed for "essential maintenance" until Saturday, April 27.
This work, which began on April 22, will be carried out overnight between 8pm and 4am.
Traffic will be diverted along the A338 and A31 with the diversion route clearly signed.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: "You’ll still be able to get to where you need to go, but we recommend you plan ahead and allow extra time for journeys."
