A CLOSURE order for a property in Amesbury has been extended following concerns over drug dealing and anti-social behaviour.
Police have secured a three-month extension to a partial closure order for a property in Amesbury following concerns regarding drug use and anti-social behaviour.
The application for the address in Redworth Drive, Archers Gate, was submitted by Neighbourhood Policing Team officers and supported by the relevant housing association. It was obtained from Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 11.
The order was sought following reports and concerns over drug dealing involving suspected class A and B drugs, anti-social behaviour and offenders staying at the address.
The extension will remain in place until Thursday, July 11, 2024 and a copy of the new order is affixed to the address.
Until then, only the following are allowed to enter the property:
- The female tenant
- Any emergency services personnel
- Any employee/contractor from/acting on behalf of ABRI Housing Association
Regular checks of the property will be carried out by officers to ensure the order is being adhered to and anybody who is found in the premises who is not listed on the order may be arrested.
Any concerns regarding unauthorised people entering the property should be reported at the time via 999, quoting crime reference number 54230117013.
