I have just come home from a month in Salisbury District Hospital and am writing to express my gratitude for the wonderful care I received.
From the huge skills and dedication of the consultant, doctors and nurses of course, but also to the huge team of people from all over the world who provided therapies, food, medicines, administered numerous tests, ferried me backwards and forwards.
A special thank you to the health care assistants who provided intimate care with tact and courtesy and the volunteers and housekeeping staff who brightened my day as I started to feel better.
Oh and the lovely musicians from Art Care who serenaded us on the ward.
We are so very lucky in Salisbury to have SDH on our doorstep.
