I would like to politely clarify that I am not a 'developer' but someone deeply committed to bringing historically significant buildings back into viable and sustainable use.

Having been born, educated, and spent my life in Salisbury, I feel a profound connection to the city's rich history.

My parents met while making Spitfire components in Harnham.

They and many others contributed significantly to our nation by working in secret on this vital task.

The Cathedral Hotel's rooftop Spitfire Bar is envisioned as a tribute to all the local workers who played such a crucial role during a pivotal time in our city’s history.

The redevelopment of The Cathedral Hotel will not only honour this heritage but also significantly boost Salisbury's hospitality and tourism sectors.

By sensitively transforming this landmark into a high-quality boutique hotel, we aim to fill a crucial gap in the local market, drawing more visitors and revitalizing the area for future generations.

In the coming months we will be hosting a public consultation event, which will be an opportunity for residents and businesses to learn more about the careful and respectful work being proposed to restore The Cathedral Hotel for future generations.
