A body has been found in the search for a missing 69-year-old woman from Downton near Salisbury.
Lynne Morall was reported missing on March 22 and Wiltshire Police detectives have been piecing together her movements by tracking CCTV footage and appealing to members of the public for information.
On Saturday, April 6, Wiltshire Police confirmed that a body had been found.
A spokesperson said: "Officers have been carrying out extensive search work in the Breamore area today with the assistance of the drone unit, specialist dogs and water resources after Lynne was reported missing on March 22.
"Sadly, a body was discovered this afternoon, and while formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of Lynne have been informed of this latest development.
"Our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time. Formal identification will take place in due course.
"Although it is early stages, we do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
