A truck has been left stuck in a ditch in a precarious position after veering off the road.
Police and South West Central Ambulance were called to an incident on Somerley Road, Alderholt, at 9am after a truck became stuck in a ditch.
Stuck on its side with wheels in the air, the driver has been checked by the ambulance service on site.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “We were called to a report of a single-vehicle road traffic incident on Alderholt Road shortly before 9am this morning.
“The incident involved a Volvo FMX. The occupant of the vehicle was checked over at the scene by South Central Ambulance Service.
“Officers are just awaiting recovery of the vehicle involved.”
Police have not stated when it is likely the vehicle will be recovered.
The truck is believed to be owned by TJ Transport which has sites in Dibden Purlieu and Southampton.
