A PHOTO of a man who police want to speak to in connection with a theft has been released.
Co-Op in Fordingbridge High Street was hit by a shoplifter shortly after 8pm on Tuesday, March 26.
The thief stole £896.25 worth of Nicorette, Nicotinell, Nexium Control and Optrex products.
Hampshire Police shared a CCTV photo of a man who may be able to help with the ongoing investigation.
The man is described as approximately 29 years old, around six-foot tall with dark hair and beard.
He was wearing white trainers, blue trouser bottoms, a black top and a long black coat.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
"Also, if you have information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
"You can do this by calling 101, or by reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44240131159."
