THE SEARCH and rescue teams combing through Churchill Gardens are looking for a woman who has been missing since Friday, it has been confirmed.
Search and rescue teams from Hampshire Search and Rescue and Wiltshire Police are currently using Churchill Gardens car park as a base of operations to carry out land and water-based searches for Lynne Morrall, 69.
The Journal understands that the police search has now extended into the fields and waterways off Britford lane.
Lynne is described as being five-foot-six-inches tall, with a thin build and light brown shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen on CCTV footage alighting from a bus in Exeter Street at around 1pm on the afternoon of Thursday, March 21, after travelling from Downton.
She was wearing a navy coat, dark trousers, black ankle boots and carrying a distinctive light blue bag.
Search and rescue teams began searching the area of Churchill Gardens on the morning of Wednesday, March 27, including water-based teams searching within the River Avon.
Paper notices outside the entrance of Churchill Gardens car park notify that the car park will be closed for the day.
Anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of Lynne Morrall have been asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 999, quoting log 306 of Friday, March 22.
