SCOUTS from Fordingbridge have praised the fire department after they visited the fire station.

At the end of the evening, new recruit Kalliope made her Squirrel Scout Promise inside the Fire Station, a very special moment shared with her new friends.
Squirrels are the youngest section of Scouting, aged between four and six years old.
The Fordingbridge Squirrels have been up and running since October 2023 and are always looking for new experiences and places to explore.
Their next big adventure will be a short trip on the X3 Bus as part of their 'Explore Outdoors' badge.

The group would like to say thank you to Fordingbridge Fire Station after enjoying their visit.
Fordingbridge fire station is a retained station (part time) with crews giving up their free time to be on call.
As of the beginning of March, Fordingbridge station is now also a community responder station.
The co-responder car will be manned by their crews, who will respond to life threatening medical emergencies in collaboration with the local ambulance service, in Fordingbridge and the surrounding areas.
