A MAN was assaulted by three boys outside a fish and chip shop.
The attack happened in Downton on Friday, March 8, outside Spinnaker Fish and Chip Shop in High Street.
Three young boys approached the man in his 30s and assaulted him, pushing him to the ground.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
A statement from police on Facebook reads: "We are appealing for witnesses following an assault outside a Downton fish and chip shop.
"At approximately 11.30pm on March 8, a man in his 30s was outside the Spinnaker Fish and Chip shop in High Street when he was approached by three young boys who assaulted him, pushing him to the ground.
"We’d like to hear from anyone with information or anyone who may have CCTV or dash cam footage.
