A MAN who fled the scene of a crash earlier this week has been arrested for a number of other crimes.
As previously reported, the crash happened between a silver Ford Kuga and a silver Kia Rio in Shady Bower, at the junction with Mill Road in the morning of Wednesday, March 13.
The Ford Kuga lost its wheel during the crash.

Now, police have confirmed to the Journal that one of the drivers fled the scene and is in custody after being arrested in his home on suspicion of careless driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
He was further arrested on suspicion of multiple incidents of theft, criminal damage, burglary and fraud by false representation which took place between February and March.
A statement from Wiltshire Police says: "We attended a road traffic collision involving two cars in Shady Bower, at the junction with Mill Road, on Wednesday morning, March 13.
"There were no reported injuries.
"The driver of one of the vehicles did not remain at the scene and was later arrested at his home on suspicion of careless driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
"He was further arrested on suspicion of multiple incidents of theft, criminal damage, burglary and fraud by false representation which took place between February and March.
"He remains in police custody."
