A WOMAN who attacked two police officers "unprovoked" has been jailed.
Kayleigh Nicholls, of Fountain Way in Salisbury, pleaded guilty to the two charges of assault by beating at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, March 13.
The 28-year-old attacked police constable Georgia Briggs and police officer Joel Williams at Ashmead Road Police Centre at Keynsham on June 17, 2023.
Magistrates decided Nicholls' offences were so serious that only a custodial sentence could be justified because it was "an unprovoked attack of a serious nature", according to court documents.
Nicholls was sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment and must pay £80 compensation to both victims.
