FOUR fire crews attended the scene after an unattended pan set off fire alarms.
Firefighters were called to the scene on St Edmunds Church Street at 1.42pm today, Thursday, March 7, after a neighbour heard the smoke alarm sounding and could smell smoke.
Two fire crews from Salisbury, a crew from Wilton and a crew from Amesbury all attended the scene and forced entry into the affected flat.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus searched the building and found the source of the smoke - an unattended pan which was left on the stove.
A statement from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue reads: "We were called to a flat on St Edmunds Church Street, Salisbury at 1.42pm today (7 March) after a neighbour heard the smoke alarm sounding and could smell smoke.
"Four fire crews attended, from Salisbury (x2), Wilton and Amesbury, and entry was forced to the affected flat, where two breathing apparatus wearers found a pan left unattended on the stove.
"Our stop was at 2.17pm and all but one crew have now left the scene."
