A SALISBURY mother who pleaded guilty to stabbing a man in his 40s has been granted bail.
Kelly Sutton, 44, of Westwood Road, Bemerton Heath, pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent by stabbing someone inside a property at Salisbury Crown Court on Friday, February 23.
Mr Sprusen, who is the victim's ex-boyfriend, suffered three knife injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
Sutton appeared at Winchester Crown Court via video link on Monday, March 4 to apply for bail, having been in custody for more than a month.
An earlier bail application was refused for being too close to where the stabbing was in Westwood Road.

Christopher Pix, defence, said: “This is a lady with no convictions. There could of course be quite stringent conditions to make sure she doesn’t go into the city.”
Judge Adam Feest asked if there were any aggravating factors. Adam Fleming, prosecuting, said: “I believe alcohol had been taken and there were children in the house."
Sutton was granted bail at The Close, Morgan's Vale, Redlynch. She must live and sleep there and all contact with her children must be supervised by a third party.

Judge Feest banned Sutton from the city of Salisbury under the bail conditions, marked by the inner ring road and A36, excluding any court appointments.
Judge Feest said: “By granting bail today I’m not giving any indication to the final sentence. The starting point in the guidelines is two years but credit for the guilty plea will be taken into account.”
Defence barrister Mr Pix said he will be asking to suspend any sentence.
Sutton is due to be sentenced at Salisbury Crown Court on Thursday, April 18.
