A television was stolen from an elderly victim’s home, police said.

The incident took place at a residence on Milford Street between approximately Tuesday, January 30 and Sunday, February 4.

The stolen television was a 50-inch LG smart TV, model LG50NANO816QA.

Police believe the suspect entered the home through a “possibly unlocked front door”. The stolen TV had been purchased less than a week before the burglary.

PC Mat Jacob of Wiltshire Police said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have information from the local area. If you or anyone you know has received or purchased a second-hand TV matching the description around the time of the incident or any time after, please contact us immediately.”
