A MAN allegedly walked out of a shop with £800 worth of goods before threatening staff who tried to stop him.
The unknown suspect is said to have stolen bags full of alcohol from Waitrose, Churchill Way, at around 8.30am this morning, February 16.
Shop staff tried stopping the man but he threatened them.
Wiltshire Police has released a photograph of a man it believes can help with its investigation into the theft.
A spokesperson for the force said: "At around 8.30am this morning (16/02), an unknown suspect has gone into the Waitrose in Churchill Way, Salisbury, and selected items to the value of more than £800 before leaving with no attempt to pay.
"He has then been stopped by staff, who he has then threatened.
"If you recognise this person, or if it’s you, please contact us on 101 quoting reference 54240018515."
