The joint effort involved two crews from Salisbury, Salisbury's Aerial Ladder Platform, a crew from Devizes and Pewsey's Water Carrier.
They made sure the scene was safe by isolating the electrics to the silo and nearby barn.
The fire was extinguished by 10.45am using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
