A STUDENT from Salisbury will have his project exhibited during London Fashion Week.
Lewis Stratton is a final year student studying fashion image making and styling at the University of Salford who has secured an opportunity to showcase his photographs in the capital.
The university's fashion show producer, Richard Thornn, asked Mr Stratton to join him on a trip to Marrakesh to photograph the MA Fashion Design graduate collections.
"We shot the collections over two locations in the Agafay Desert, where we stayed for the week. Initially a group of strangers, the collective all bonded over our joint love of fashion, and we have left the trip as friends," Mr Stratton said.

The exhibition, named 'RAK', symbolises the airport code for Marrakesh but doubles as an acronym for a 'Random Act of Kindness' which Mr Stratton said his university offered by taking him along on the trip, as well as the kindness shown by locals and the team throughout.
Mr Stratton, who was born in Salisbury, said he has faced "endless hurdles" while finding his way into the fashion world but hopes his work can inspire young people to chase their dreams.
"Before I moved to Manchester I was studying a course that didn’t interest me in the slightest down in Bournemouth, so to have turned my career around and to be doing something that I love is incredibly rewarding," he explained.
"As a young and emerging creative, it is rare to come across such big opportunities, therefore this exhibition remains very close to my heart."
The exhibition is taking place at 15 Bateman Street, London, W1D 3AQ on Saturday, February 17, between 12 noon and 6pm.
