THE Salisbury International Pancake Race returns next week, and there is still time to sign up.
Preparations are well underway for The Salisbury International Pancake Race.
The grand event is due to take place on Tuesday, February 13, on Salisbury High Street, at 11am.
Participants will gather at the starting line at 11am for the festive sporting occasion, which is now a tradition in the city.
In the event of bad weather, the race will move to Salisbury Cathedral Cloisters.
This annual event is organised by Salisbury Foodbank with the support of St Thomas’s Church to raise money and awareness for the thousands of local people struggling with food insecurity and essentials.
There are still slots available for those wishing to compete.
Closing date for entries is Wednesday, February 7, and potential athletes can apply online or download forms from the Salisbury Foodbank website.
Organisers say that: "Everything is looking good for a flippin’ good time."
