A NUMBER of cars had their front windows smashed with stones and items stolen from within.
The incidents took place while the cars were parked at Roundhills Car Park in Fordingbridge Town Centre and nearby roads.
The incidents occurred on the night of Monday, January 29 leading into the early morning of Tuesday, January 30, when five vehicles were targeted.

After breaking the front windows, police said the perpetrators “conducted untidy searches with gloveboxes opened loose change stolen as well as smaller personal items such as music tapes and other lower value items taken, with other property such as Sat Navs not taken”.
It is still unknown whether more than one person was involved in the series of offences.
Hampshire Police have asked anyone who may have knowledge of the incidents to call the Fordingbridge Team on 101, quoting police reference number 44240043363. Members of the public can also contribute information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
