A NURSERY has improved the quality of the education it offers and has been given a new rating by Ofsted.
Little Druids Nursery, at Minton Distribution Park in Amesbury, achieved an overall rating of 'good' following an inspection on January 9.
The inspector said children's emotional well-being is supported as staff work closely with parents to tailor settling-in visits and find out information about the child as soon as possible.
Children are happy to arrive at the nursery and they are greeted with a warm welcome from the "caring and kind" staff members.
Staff have high expectations of children. They help them form relationships with their friends and teach them to overcome conflict by modelling sharing.
The nursery manager has developed an ambitious curriculum for children, including those with special educational needs/and or disabilities, and she is clear about what she wants them to learn.
Owner Sarah Sartin said: "It really is a massive achievement for the manager, her deputy and the whole team who have worked tirelessly to get to this moment."
Ofsted told Little Druids it must review the organisation of transitional routines to better support children's individual needs and learning outcomes in order to improve.
The inspector also recommended the nursery further develops its outdoor environment to capture all children's interests and increase their engagement and focus.
