A MAN has appeared in court after two houses on the same street were burgled in one month.
Soloman Jeffers, 57, of Wiltshire Road in Harnham, has been charged with burglary and theft after allegedly trespassing on two houses in Harnham Road.
It is said Jeffers entered the first house on January 7 with the intent to steal.
Then, on January 18, he allegedly entered another house and stole an iPhone, purse and a wallet.
Jeffers appeared in Swindon Magistrates Court on Saturday, January 20, where the case was adjourned.
He remains in custody and is due to appear in Salisbury Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on February 21.
