A MAN who stole a 95p iced coffee must pay compensation to the shop, a court has ruled.
Elliot Pennells, of The Foyer in Salisbury, took the drink from Lidl in Andover on November 8, 2023.
The 18-year-old also assaulted a man inside the shop and threatened people in the nearby area.
Pennells pleaded guilty to the three charges put against him at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, January 16, where he was sentenced.
Magistrates ordered him to pay 95p compensation to Lidl and £120 to the victim of the assault.
Pennells was also fined £40 and ordered to pay a further £40 in court costs.
