SOUTH Western Railway has warned that trains may be cancelled as a points failure affects a railway line through Salisbury.
The affected railway is between Tisbury and Salisbury.
According to SWR, fewer trains are able to run on some lines, and disruption is expected until 4pm.

SWR have posted an update to their X account saying: "We have now received an update and disruption to our services is now expected until 16:00.
"As the investigations are ongoing this may change but we will update you if it does."

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, South Western Railway said:
"A points failure is affecting the railway between Tisbury and Salisbury.
"Trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised because of this problem.
"At this time, we estimate that disruption to our services will end at 14:00.
"Fewer trains are able to run on some lines and your journey is likely to take longer."
