A PERSON has been taken to hospital following a 'serious crash' in Salisbury.
A red Renault Clio and a motorcycle crashed on the A338 Downton Road on Monday, January 15, before midday.
Emergency services have closed the busy road just past the M&S garage and drivers are being urged to find alternative routes.
One person has been taken to Southampton General Hospital, it has been confirmed.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: "We were called at 11.57am on Monday, January 15, to a road traffic incident on the A338, Salisbury.
"We sent two double-crewed ambulances and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Southampton General Hospital."
In a statement posted to Facebook, Wiltshire Police said: "Drivers please be aware that the A338 Downton Road just past the M&S garage is currently closed following a serious RTC.
"The road is likely to be closed for several hours. Please find alternate routes."
